Make a donation to a charity and receive a number for the Famous Chicken Drop Contest! If you're the lucky one, the chicken will "poop" on your number and you'll walk away with a spectacular "Chicken Drop" Trophy created by local artist Ted Pullig! The only downside to this contest... the winner must clean up the mess!

How To Do the Chicken Dance

We will do the chicken dance every night with lessons too!

1. Anyone who's not a chicken, stand in a circle facing each other.

2. When music starts, hold your hands out in front of you and open and close them like a chicken beak four times.

3. Put your thumbs in your armpits and flap your wings four times.

4. Place arms and hands like the tail feathers of a chicken and wiggle down to the floor four times.

5. Clap four times

6. Repeat steps 1-5 four times.

7. After the fourth time take the hands of the people on either side of you and everyone move in a circle.

8. When you get dizzy, switch directions.

9. Repeat until end of the music or until you fall on the floor.

Just relax and pretend your a chicken!!!

History of Oktoberfest

The famed Oktoberfest began with a Royal Bavarian Wedding in 1810. To celebrate his autumn marriage, King Ludwig the first called for a state Fair in Munich. The festival was dedicated to the fall harvest, and of course beer-the region’s most famous product. Tradesmen and merchants came from throughout Southern Germany to join in the merrymaking. They examined the crops, sang, danced, and sampled the first beer of the season. The celebration was such a success that Ludwig issued a royal decree making every October in Munich a festival time. Oktoberfest has been held annually ever since and has grown into the largest of all German beer festivals.

Saying Good-bye? Auf Wiedersehn (Owf-vee-der-zane)

To Drunk to remember Hello or Goodbye? Just say Cheers when you come or go!!! No not when you're drinking beer, although you can if you want!!!

How to order a beer!

A lager(beer) please! Ein Pils Bitte! (Eyn Pils Beettuh)

Probably the most important phrase if you're drinking beer-

Where is the bathroom? Wo ist die Toilette? (Vo east dee toliet-ee?)

Because Beer Tents are always packed and you spill beer on someone(hopefully just their shoes)-

Excuse me! Entschuldigung! (En-shul-diggen)

Being Polite to your server always means better service, so more Beer!!!
